Do you ship cars from auto auctions?

Yes. Vehicles from all of the major auto auctions, such as Copart, IAA, Manheim, ADESA, and America's Auto Auction, are shipped by Wimple Auto Transport. To ensure your car is delivered safely and on schedule, we work closely with auction representatives to set up pickup and handle the necessary release paperwork.

What information do you need to ship a car from an auction?

Accepted Answer

In order to set up an auction pickup, we require: the buyer or lot number; the name and address of the auction; the VIN (vehicle identification number) and the release authorization, if necessary for the auction. Our carrier will pick up the vehicle as soon as it is released and deliver it straight to the location of your choice.

Do you pick up vehicles without a release form?

Accepted Answer

No, in order to release a vehicle to a carrier at an auction, a release form or gate pass is required. Before setting up a pickup time, please make sure that all auction fees have been paid and the release document is prepared. When the driver arrives, there won't be any delays thanks to this.

Do you transport inoperable vehicles from auctions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vehicles that are damaged or not operating can be transported by Wimple. Inoperable cars are safely loaded onto open or enclosed trailers by carriers using winches and specialized equipment. If your car doesn't start, roll, or steer, please let us know so we can assign the appropriate carrier.
