How we work, step by step
1. Organizing and quoting
You provide the year, make, model, or VIN, timing, and the addresses for pickup and delivery. We use actual market data to determine lane prices, taking into account factors like trailer capacity, fuel prices, seasonality, and your window of flexibility. You see the price, what's included, and what could cost more, like a car that isn't running or a vehicle with low ground clearance.
2. Booking and dispatch
Following your approval, we designate a verified carrier who fits your schedule, equipment requirements, and route. You get the carrier`s MC and COI details on request, plus pickup expectations and contact information.
3. Pickup day
The driver conducts a visual examination and takes pictures to document the condition on a Bill of Lading. You or your designated contact sign to deliver the keys and attest to the noted condition. We manage gate passes and timing for auction releases during the designated hours.
4. In transit
Proactive status updates are sent to you via email or text. Your coordinator gives you an updated ETA and options in the event that weather or road closures cause the schedule to change.
5. Delivery
Before handoff, a second, photo-based inspection is finished. The Bill of Lading lists any exceptions. We immediately walk you through the next steps if something needs attention.

Pricing and payment, explained
The cost of auto transport is subject to change. Lanes with consistent capacity are priced differently than those with greater demand or less equipment. Because it allows us to match your vehicle to an existing route, flexibility in pickup and delivery windows can lower costs. Compared to open carriers, enclosed transport is more expensive but protects valuable vehicles. A winch, forklift, or additional time on the trailer may be necessary for vehicles that are not operable. Payment options include paying in full before pickup for a single receipt or making a deposit at dispatch with the remaining amount due upon delivery.
Coverage and timelines
Once picked up, most cross-country moves take seven to ten days. Regional routes that are shorter typically take two to four days to complete. Timelines may be impacted by traffic, weather, and route restrictions. Prior to pickup, your coordinator will establish expectations and keep you informed if anything changes.
